The system design of PlayStation 5 is revealed! The world's most remarkable technical explanation video will be released on March 19 at 1:00 a.m!

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that it will release a PlayStation 5 ("PS5") technical explanation video today, Thursday, March 19, 2020, at 1:00 a.m. (Japan time).

In this video, Mark Cerny, the lead system architect for PS5, will explain the details of the PS5 system design. The video will be available on the official US version of the PlayStation.Blog blog.

The video is a recording of a session scheduled for the Game Developers Conference (GDC), an annual conference attended by game developers from around the world. It will be distributed in English (without subtitles).
