Switch/Steam RPG "Octopath Traveler" Sells More Than 2 Million Units, Offers Half-Price Sale

Square Enix announced that the total worldwide shipments and download sales of its RPG "OCTOPATH TRAVELER," released and distributed on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam), have surpassed 2 million units. To commemorate this milestone, the title's first 50% off sale began today, March 19, 2020.

Octopath Traveler" is an RPG set in a fantastical world of 3DCG, old-fashioned dots, and characteristic effects, where players can choose one of eight main characters and travel freely. 8 characters have their own "field commands" that allow them to approach almost any townspeople, as well as their own "unique actions. Each of the eight protagonists has their own "field commands" and "unique actions," allowing players to enjoy "role-playing" as the character.
