A high school boy who transforms into a costume risks his life in a romantic comedy adapted for TV animation! Grapnir" will start airing on 4/5. Latest PV also released!

It was announced that the spring anime "Grapnir" will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from April 5, 2020. In addition, the latest PV and advance cuts were also released.

Grapnir" is a TV anime based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Young Magazine Third" (Kodansha) by Sun Takeda. The original comic series is currently in its seventh volume and has sold more than 300,000 copies.

The main character, a high school boy named Shuichi Kagaya (CV. Natsuki Hanae), has the ability to transform into a "stuffed animal," but he keeps it a secret and leads a peaceful life. However, he meets a mysterious girl named Beniai (CV. Nao Higashiyama) and gets caught up in an unexpected conflict in this "life-threatening romantic comedy.

The film is directed by Kazuhiro Yoneda, who has worked on "Onikan no Reijutetsu" and other works. Shinichi Inozume is in charge of series composition, Takahiro Kishida is in charge of character design, and PINE JAM is in charge of animation production.

The latest PV has also been released, featuring the voices of Natsuki Hanae, who plays Shuichi Kagaya, and Nao Higashiyama, who plays Ai Beni. The video has a bleak atmosphere, as it is titled "a romantic comedy of risking one's life," but the beautiful images and powerful battle scenes foreshadow the future of the story.
