GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-, the latest in the GUILTY GEAR series, will hold a closed beta test! Participants are now being recruited!

Arc System Works, Inc. announced that it will hold a closed beta test of the PS4 fighting game "GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-" from April 17 (Fri.) to April 19 (Sun.), 2020, which is scheduled to be released after the fall of 2020. In conjunction with this, the company is currently recruiting participants on a special website.

The "GUILTY GEAR" series is a 2D fighting game with a unique worldview that fuses science fiction and fantasy, unique characters, metal and hard rock style background music, and a speedy and tense game system that is very popular in Japan and abroad. This is the latest title in the series.

The purpose of the closed beta test this time is to test the network. The well-known series character "Faust" will be available to be controlled in this test.

Closed Beta Test Details
Application period: March 19, 2020 (Thursday) 12:00 - April 5, 2020 (Sunday) 23:59
Announcement of winners: After 15:00 on April 13 (Mon.), winners will be notified to the e-mail address they entered during the application process.
Please note that no notification will be made to unsuccessful applicants.

Own a PlayStation 4 connected to the Internet.
Subscription to PlayStation Plus is not required.
Able to agree to the terms of use

People who do not need to apply:
Those who have responded to the questionnaire after the trial test sessions held so far and have requested priority participation in the closed beta test.

April 18 (Sat) 12:00 - 16:59: Online Test 1 (Only online battles can be played)
April 19 (Sun) 04:00 - 08:59: Online Test 2 (Online battle only)

Server maintenance is scheduled for up to 24 hours from 12:00 on Friday the 17th to 11:59 on Saturday the 18th.
During the server maintenance, only COM battle can be played.
Internet connection is required even if you play COM battle.
*The closed beta test and server maintenance times are subject to change without prior notice due to communication conditions.
Server maintenance may be conducted in case of unforeseen problems.
