SPOT", a system that allows anyone, anytime, anywhere to take one-on-one lessons online with a voice actor, opens today!

SPOT" is an e-learning system for voice actors. The voice actor e-learning system "SPOT", which allows anyone to become a voice actor, was launched today, March 25, 2002.

SPOT" was jointly developed by four major voice actor production companies, Across Entertainment, Ken Productions, Stay Luck, and Moveman. The system is an e-learning system for voice actors that allows anyone to become a voice actor "anytime, anywhere.

The system name "SPOT" is an acronym for "SEI-YU PERSONAL ONLINE TRAINIG" (voice actor personal online training). Unlike conventional voice actor schools and voice actor training schools, this service is inexpensive, does not require travel expenses, and features one-on-one instruction by active voice actors via PC or smartphone.

SPOT", a system that allows one-on-one lessons by voice actors online, will be launched this spring. Recruitment for the first term of students began on February 7.

Currently, many aspiring voice actors who are currently in school or living far away from their homes have often given up on their aspirations due to the cost of voice actor schools and training schools, lessons on a set schedule, and the time and transportation costs involved in commuting to school.
However, with this system, any age group, from junior high and high school students to working adults, housewives, and seniors, no matter where they live, including remote areas, can take one-on-one lessons with an active voice actor at any time of their free time, safely, securely, and inexpensively on their PC or smartphone.

The total number of courses that began today is 40 (curriculum).
Of course, the basics of vocalization, smoothness, and correcting accents, which are essential for aspiring voice actors, are also covered, but to the surprise of many, the first lesson starts with an actual anime video, where the student suddenly does the voice-over with the instructor's voice actor. This is done in order to check the student's ability and areas for correction, as well as to tailor the lesson to the level of the individual, from the inexperienced to those who have already tried voice-over acting. It is also a way to make sure that the 40 lessons are fun and enjoyable.

The "SPOT" audition by students was also announced at the live "Open Campus" broadcast on February 29, where Daisuke Namikawa, one of the founders of the program, served as a special instructor.
The audition is a chance to join one of the four major voice actor production companies that sponsor the "SPOT" program (Across Entertainment, Ken Productions, Styluck, and Moveman), or to become a special student at one of their training schools.

The first term of the program has already been closed due to popular demand and the number of students has already exceeded the maximum number of students. This is also a characteristic of "SPOT," which is possible because it is a personalized lesson, unlike classes that are held all at the same time.

Finally, "SPOT" will start today, March 25th, and "anytime, anywhere, anyone" will be able to take on the challenge of voice acting. In addition, students will be able to start at any time.
