NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139..." is an upgraded version based on "NieR Replicant" released in April 2010. This title tells the story of how the world of "NieR: Automata," released in February 2017, was formed and how it all began.

The protagonist is a kind-hearted boy living in a remote village. In order to save his younger sister "Yona" from the incurable "Blackletter Disease," he sets out on a journey to find a handful of "lost words," a hope, together with the mysterious "Book of White," a book that speaks human language.
