Square Enix has announced a new RPG for smartphones, "NieR Re[in]carnation" (NieR Reincarnation). The release date is yet to be determined.
NieR Re[in]carnation" is the latest smartphone RPG in the "NieR" series, known for "NieR Replicant" and "NieR: Automata," and is planned and produced by Square Enix and developed by Applibot, Inc.
A teaser trailer was also released.
In the teaser trailer, the story's themes of "loneliness" and "salvation" are played with a sad melody in the background, and the trailer ends with the sentence "The name of the place was called "Cage".
