Stanley Kubrick's films such as "The Shining" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" are now available as fashion items.

The "Stanley Kubrick Collection", a collaboration between Stanley Kubrick's films and the fashion brand "glamb", will be available for pre-order on March 31, 2020 (Tuesday) from 1:00 p.m. at "BANKOLET! and "Premium Bandai" from 1:00 p.m. on March 31 (Tue.), 2020. and Premium Bandai.

The four movies chosen as the theme for this collaboration are "2001: A Space Odyssey," "A Clockwork Orange," "The Shining," and "Full Metal Jacket. A total of six items, including tailored jackets, parkas, and T-shirts, are available in the lineup.

2001: A Space Odyssey Hoodie directed by Stanley Kubrick

This parka incorporates the essence of "2001: A Space Odyssey. The logo of the film is printed on the hood, and the "COMPUTER MALFICATION" cutout that appears in the film is printed on the chest. The "monolith," a mysterious object that appears in the work, is printed on the arm and the cut from the work is printed on the back style to express the world view of the work. The price is 22,000 yen (tax included, shipping and handling not included).

2001: A Space Odyssey Tailored Jacket directed by Stanley Kubrick

This jacket is designed to combine the futuristic world of "2001: A Space Odyssey" with classical tailoring. The jacket is accented with a triangular flap embroidered with the camera eye of the artificial intelligence "HAL9000" that appears in the film. The price is 39,600 yen (tax included, shipping and handling charges not included).

Stanley Kubrick's The Shining Print T-Shirt

This T-shirt features a print of Danny, the son of the main character Jack, who possesses the supernatural power "The Shining. At first glance, the T-shirt appears to be an innocent photo T-shirt, but the words "ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY." repeatedly typed by Jack on a typewriter are superimposed to create an unsettling mood. This back print shirt is based on the U.S. Marine Corps uniform and service dress worn by Sergeant Hartman in the film. A peace symbol is printed on the left pocket. The design is vintage-like, just like the military uniforms that appear in the film. The price is 20,900 yen (tax included / shipping and handling not included).
