The only way she can stay close to her beloved Hinode. The only way to stay close to Hinode, whom she loves so much, is to become a cat and go to see him. When she is "human," she is distant from Hinode, but when she is "cat," she can get close to him.
But the longer I spend as a cat, the more the boundary between cat and myself becomes blurred. I want to stay close to him forever. But I can't go back to being "me" anymore.
A coming-of-age fantasy about finding "me" that unfolds through the world of cats.
