Additional cast members have been announced for the upcoming theatrical anime "Cry Me a Cat, Cry Me a Cat" scheduled for release on Friday, June 5, 2020. In addition to the recently announced Koichi Yamadera and Hiroaki Ogi of Ogi Yahagi, Minako Kotobuki, Kensho Ono, Shinobu Chiba, Ayako Kawasumi, Sayaka Ohara, and Daisuke Namikawa have been announced.

Crying Like a Cat" is the second feature-length animated film by the animation studio Studio Colorido. The main character of this film is Miyo Sasaki (CV. Mirai Shida), a slightly unusual eighth grader who goes by the nickname "Muge (Infinity Mystery Human)". She has feelings for her classmate Kento Hinode (CV. Natsuki Hanae) and attacks him every day, but he does not take her seriously. In order to be close to her beloved Hinode, she turns into a cat and goes to see him .......

The voice cast, which has now been revealed as additional cast members, will portray characters who play important roles in the story, such as Muge's classmates and Muge's family members.


Minako Kotobuki will play the role of Yoriko Fukase, a friend who stands by the cheerful and vivacious Muge. She has appeared in "K-ON! and "Pretty Cure" series, as well as "Hibike! Euphonium" and is also a member of the voice actress unit "Sphere. Expectations are high for the friendship between Muge and Yoriko as they run through their adolescence.


The role of Masamichi Isami, Hinode's friend, will be played by Kensho Ono, who is known not only for his work in anime, but also for his presence in movies, TV dramas, and stage performances. She is a popular actress in Japan. He will act as a good friend to Hinode, who is shaken by the problems peculiar to adolescence.


Also cast are Shinobu Chiba as Yoji Sasaki, Muge's father; Ayako Kawasumi as Kaoru Mizutani, Muge's father's girlfriend who lives with Muge at an age when they are not related by blood; and Sayaka Ohara as Miki Saito, Muge's biological mother. Muge, who is cheerful at school, is actually struggling with a complicated family environment, and the family drama is also attracting a lot of attention.


The role of Tomoya Sakaguchi, a young man who works at the pottery workshop run by Hinode's family, will be played by Daisuke Namikawa, who is well known for his extensive career and excellent acting. He and Hinode love Taro, a cat that comes and goes from the workshop, but something is about to happen at the workshop where he works that will affect the future of the company.
