Full of luxurious extras! ULTRAMAN" Blu-ray BOX, which will be broadcast on terrestrial TV from April, will be released on June 24!

The anime "ULTRAMAN," which will be broadcast on terrestrial TV from April 12 (Sun.) and has already decided to produce Season 2, will be released in a Blu-ray BOX containing all 13 episodes of Season 1, plus luxurious extras.

The release date is June 24, 2020, and it will be available in two versions: "Blu-ray BOX (Special Limited Edition)" and "Blu-ray BOX Limited Edition (Initial Limited Production)". The "Blu-ray BOX Limited Edition (Limited First Edition)" is a Premium Bandai and A-on STORE exclusive product.

The special limited edition includes all 13 episodes of the anime, a Season 1 compilation, a making-of documentary, non-credit OP&ED, a commentary on all episodes by directors Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, and a commentary on the work that includes a large amount of material including 3DCG materials. The "ORIGINAL BOOKLET A TYPE" (84 pages), a commentary on all episodes by directors Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki, and a Blu-ray BOX exclusive comic (44 pages) with the same specifications as the original book containing the newly drawn episode "rendezvous" by the original author Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi are also enclosed in the box.
The box design is based on an original illustration by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, who were impressed by the "Ultraman Suit Wearing Sequence," which is an original anime performance.

The Blu-ray BOX Limited Edition (initial limited production) includes the contents of the special limited edition, as well as the making of the anime "ULTRAMAN", a fully preserved making-of book that explains how the high-quality 3DCG images of the anime were produced. The "Limited Edition" of the film will include this book as a special bonus.

The digital sell version and rental version will be available for purchase from April 13, 2020 (Monday) at noon on each distribution site.
In addition, "Season 1 Compilation," a newly re-edited compilation of all 13 episodes, will be available for digital sale (Season 1 Compilation will not be available as a rental version).
