Original story by Koji Kumeda makes his first TV appearance in 30 years as a manga artist! Spring Anime "Kakushigoto" Special to be Broadcast on April 14!

The popular manga variety show "Ano ko wa manga wo yomarenai" ("That girl doesn't read manga"), currently airing on BS Nittele will air a special feature on "Kakushigoto," which was made into an anime this spring, on April 14, 2020 (Tuesday) at 24:00. The original author of "Kakushigoto", Koji Kumeda, will appear on the program. This is the first time in his 30 years as a manga artist that Mr. Kumeida will appear on TV.

Kakushigoto" is based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Monthly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). The main character is Kakushi Goto, a manga artist who draws a rather vulgar manga. He spends his days worrying ...... that his precious only daughter, Princess Goto, will hate him if she finds out that he is a manga artist. The work depicts a family story of "love, laughter, and a little bit of emotion.

⇒The main cast is made up of Koji Kamiya and Hiroshi Kamiya! The main cast will be Hiroshi Kamiya and Riyo Takahashi.

Yuuki Iwai (Haraichi), Misato Ugaki, and Natsuki Hanae, who plays the role of May Jyumaruin, will be the program MCs for the "Kakushigoto" feature that will be broadcast this time.

OP & ED video released!

The non-credit OP and ED videos have also been released, featuring the fun yet somewhat sad OP song "Chiisana Hibi" by flumpool, and the retro-inspired ED video of Kakushi and Hime walking around town with the melody of Eiichi Otaki's "Kimi wa natu shiroi". The video has a retro atmosphere.

In addition, the release of Blu-ray and DVD of the TV anime "Kakushigoto" has been decided. The price is 13,000 yen (excluding tax) for the Blu-ray and 10,800 yen (excluding tax) for the DVD. The first volume will include a sleeve case and booklet newly drawn by Shuhei Yamamoto, the character designer, and a manga by Koji Kumeda, the author of the original story.
