Production of a completely new anime "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew Nyu" based on "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew" is decided! The role of the main character, Ichigo Momomiya, will be decided by audition!

On April 2, 2020 (Thursday) at 10:22 p.m., the countdown site for the new "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew" project announced the completely new anime adaptation of "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew Nyu-". This countdown site was opened at 22:22 on February 22 (Sat), 2020, a cat's day and cat's time.

Tokyo Mew Mew Mew" is a very popular manga by Mia Seikai ("Mia Seikai" was renamed "Mia Seikai" in the original serialization), scenario by Reiko Yoshida, and original story by Kodansha, serialized from 2000 to 2003 in the girls' manga magazine "Nakayoshi" and also made into an anime. The series has sold a total of 1.45 million copies, including the sequel "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew A-ra-mood," and to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the publication of "Nakayoshi," a new series with the genders reversed, "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew Ole! (manga by Madoka Aozuki, original story by Kodansha) is currently being serialized.

As part of the 65th anniversary of "Nakayoshi," it has been decided that a completely new anime "Tokyo Miu Miu Nyu♡" based on the "Tokyo Miu Miu" manga will be produced.

In conjunction with the announcement, an illustration comment from Mia Seikai, the original manga artist, has arrived on the official website.
In addition to the illustrations of the five cute Miu Miu characters, the comment reads, "I'm just surprised to hear that a work from so many years ago is going to be made into an anime again.

It was also announced that the role of Ichigo Momomiya, the main character of this work, will be open to the public through an audition.
The audition will be held on the audition application "mysta" until May 11, 2020 (Monday), and the successful candidate will be contracted exclusively with Pony Canyon's voice acting agency Swallow to play the role of Ichigo Momomiya, the main character of "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew Nyu-" and will be active in voice acting, dancing, singing and other activities. She will also make her major debut as the center of the "Tokyo Mew Mew Mew Nyu~" voice actress idol group from Pony Canyon. Female
Elementary school students - 30 years old (as of April 2, 2020)
Nationality is not required.
Those who do not belong to any production companies.
Those who are interested in talent activities centering on idol and voice actor activities.
Those who are interested in talent activities, especially idol and voice-over activities.

We are planning to select one successful applicant.
Applicants must be able to speak Japanese on a daily basis.
Students must be able to engage in entertainment activities.
Minors must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
Applicants must not have any contractual relationship with record companies, entertainment production companies, or any other entertainment activities (including contracts with performers, influencers, and distribution services) other than those of MYSTA at the time of entry.
You must be able to participate in the entire screening process.
There is no entry fee for auditions.
*The selection process will be partially broadcast to the public through a program to be distributed on the web.
*Only those who are able to perform in Tokyo immediately after the final screening will be considered.
*After the final judging, you will be required to sign an exclusive contract with SWAROW.
*Performers will be required to wear the same costume as their character at the live performances.
