Gundam Model Kits 40th Anniversary UT to be released on Friday, April 24! Original movies and in-store broadcasts of popular characters start today!

UNIQLO's graphic T-shirt brand "UT" will launch "Gunpla 40th Anniversary UT" on April 24, 2020 (Friday), in collaboration with "Gunpla," which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

This collection features the RX-78-2 Gundam, ν Gundam (New Gundam), Z Gundam (Zeta Gundam), and Strike Freedom Gundam from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, a collaboration that transcends series boundaries and brings together popular "Gunpla" motifs. Items unique to "UT" will appear, such as the mark of the Earth Federation Forces engraved on mobile suits and designs using runners from the first Gundam plastic model.

The designs unique to "UT" have been realized by carefully selecting popular mobile suits from "Gundam Model Kits," plastic models of "Mobile Suit Gundam," which boasts immense popularity among a wide range of ages.

In addition, prior to the release, an original "Gunpla 40th Anniversary UT" movie was released on the special website today, April 6 (Mon.). The movie introduces the product lineup and shows scenes of "Gunpla" production, making it a must-see for fans.

In addition, UNIQLO stores nationwide will be offering three types of limited-time special in-store broadcasts featuring dialogue between Amuro Ray (Toru Furuya), Char Aznable (Shuichi Ikeda), and Haman Khan (Yoshiko Sakakibara), so be sure to check them out.
