New OP song "Hummingbird" and non-credit video for the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" currently airing!

A non-credit video of the new OP song "Hummingbird" from the TV anime "Ahiru no Sora" currently airing on six TV networks in the Tokyo area has been released.

The "Ahiru no Sora" is based on Takeshi Hyuga's basketball manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). It has been loved by fans for about 15 years since its serialization began, and has sold a total of over 24 million copies. Set at Kutouryuu High School (commonly known as "Kuzu High"), the story vividly depicts the struggles and growth of the main character "Kurumaya Sora" who joins the basketball club, which has become a den of delinquents.

The new OP song, "Hummingbird," is performed by "BLUE ENCOUNT," aka "Blue Encount," an ultra-sympathetic rock band from Kumamoto.

The positive and gentle message affirming "those who go forward on the path they believe in" and BLUE ENCOUNT's comfortable sense of speed are in perfect harmony with the anime, and the song has already become a hot topic of conversation.

Hummingbird" was released digitally today, April 8. The full-size version of the song is available for download, so be sure to check it out.

To commemorate the release of "Hummingbird," "Bullcast," a regularly broadcast tweecast program by the members, will be distributed from 9:00 p.m. on April 15. Usually, all the members gather together for the distribution, but this time, each member will distribute from their own home.
