Fans' long-awaited 10-player cooperative battle "Union Battle" is now available! PS4 "Border Break" major version update Ver. 3.00 is now available!

SEGA Corporation began distributing Ver. 3.00, the latest version of the currently available PS4 exclusive "BORDER BREAK" (hereinafter referred to as "Border Break"), today, April 9, 2020.

BORDER BREAK" is a high-speed robot team battle game that allows players to enjoy 10 vs. 10 battles, and has gained popularity since its arcade version was launched in 2009. The PS4 version of the game retains the fun and exhilaration of the original story, including high-speed battles and exhilarating action, and adds various new elements such as a "story mode" and all-new characters.

The new version Ver. 3.00 will feature "Union Battle," a game mode that was popular with many players in the arcade version of the game. In this mode, up to 10 players cooperate to fight off an unknown enemy force that is closing in on them. Victory is achieved by destroying the power unit of the enemy's mother ship, a huge weapon, or by defending the core until the time limit is reached. In conjunction with this version update, a downloadable version of "BORDER BREAK DX Starter Pack" will be available from April 10 (Fri.). The pack includes weapons, aircraft parts, boarders (pilots), tickets, and other items, so it is recommended for those who are just starting to play this title, as well as for those who have already played the game.
