The TV anime "Kingdom" (3rd season), which began airing on April 5, has released a synopsis and advance cutaways of the second episode.

Kingdom" is based on the manga of the same title by Yasuhisa Hara, which is serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha). The first series aired from June 2012 to February 2013, the second series from June 2013 to March 2014, and the third series has been airing since April 5, 2020.

The series is directed by Kenichi Imaizumi, composed by Noboru Takagi, designed by Tsune Abe, and animated by Studio Signpost.

＜Synopsis
The "United Forces" consisting of six powerful countries begin their invasion of Qin Dynasty. In order to resolve the critical situation, the commander-in-chief of the army, Shoheikun, negotiates with the state of Qi in the east, hoping to encourage it to secede from the joint forces.

Meanwhile, the flying squadron, still unable to fully grasp the situation, caught up with the invading Wei forces in the "Raiyuan" region. There, they saw the Qin Army fighting a good battle with a small number of soldiers against a large army commanded by Wei General Wu Fengming himself. It was the army of the great general Hyougo, with whom Nobu had once fought under his command.
