The second episode of the spring anime "Grapnir," which began airing on April 5, 2020, has arrived with a synopsis and advance cutaways.
Grapnir" is a TV anime based on the manga of the same title serialized in "Young Magazine Third" (Kodansha) by Sun Takeda. The original comic is currently in its seventh volume and has sold more than 300,000 copies.
The main character, a high school boy named Shuichi Kagaya (CV. Natsuki Hanae), has the ability to transform into a "stuffed animal," but he keeps it a secret and leads a peaceful life. However, he meets a mysterious girl named Beniai (CV. Nao Higashiyama) and gets caught up in an unexpected conflict in this "life-threatening romantic comedy.
This work is directed by Kazuhiro Yoneda, who has worked on "Onikan no Reijutetsu" and other works. Shinichi Inozume is in charge of series composition, Takahiro Kishida is in charge of character design, and PINE JAM is in charge of animation production.
Episode 2 "The Meaning of Emptiness" Synopsis
Shuichi and Claire are suddenly attacked by "collectors" looking for coins. Shuichi runs away with Claire, who shows a will to fight. Shuichi is concerned about the mystery of the coins, but Claire tells him that the attackers want to kill them. Claire thinks that there must be some meaning to Shuichi's costumed appearance. She notices a zipper on his back and opens it, but she finds ...... inside.
