Blade of Demon's Destruction" Infinity Train Arc will be released on October 16 (Fri.)! The key visual and the first trailer of the theatrical version are also unveiled!

The theatrical version of "Demon Slayer" Infinity Train Arc, which has been in the works for some time, has been set for release on October 16, 2020 (Friday), and a key visual and the first trailer for the theatrical version have been released.

Demon Slayer" is a TV anime based on the manga of the same title serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) by Yoseharu Goge since 2016. The sad story of humans and demons, the ghoulish sword fights, and the sometimes comical characters have been gaining popularity, and the total number of copies of the comics has exceeded 40 million.

The final episode of the TV anime, "A New Mission," was broadcast at the end of September 2019, bringing the "Tanjiro Kamado Tatsushi Hen" story to a close. The story ends with the scene where the main character, Tanjiro Kamado, and his friends board the "Infinity Train," the stage of the film. This film is a continuation of that final story.

Sumijiro and his friends are assigned a new mission: to search for the "Infinity Train," which has reportedly lost more than 40 people in a short period of time, together with the pillar of flame, Kyoujuro Rengoku. The case is full of mysteries, as all of the fellow swordsmen who were sent ahead have also disappeared. The trailer begins with a scene in which the "Infinity Train" is speeding eerily in the pitch black darkness.
The master of the strange lullaby is the "demon" Nigure (Gakugen no Ichi), who will be the film's greatest enemy. Nightmare," he says, "will never wake up again." With his special ability, he stands before Sumijiro and the others. Can Sumijiro and his friends safely defeat the demon and save the missing people?
And what is the meaning of these words left by Sumijiro, "What must be cut...is to wake up." ......?

The new scenes are so new that you won't be able to blink, including the "demon" Nightmare (Gakugen no Ichi) who has made his first appearance since the last episode of the TV anime, the familiar comical direction, and Sumijiro and his family who will have a great significance! The animation production is being handled by ufotable, following on from the TV broadcast, and we can look forward to the completion of the full-length film with great anticipation.

The key visual for the film version, which was released at the same time as the teaser, shows a complete change from the teaser version, featuring the main character Tanjiro Kamado, his sister Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Wagatsuma, and Inosuke Zuidaira, as well as his sister Nezuko Kamado. The film also depicts one of the strongest swordsmen, "Hashira," who is in command of this mission, Kyozuro Gurgoku, and the "demon" Nightmare (Gakugen no Ichi).

Following the TV anime version, the characters are played by regulars Natsuki Hanae, Akari Kito, Hiro Shimono, and Teijo Matsuoka. Daisuke Hirakawa will continue to play the role of the demon, Gakugen no Ichi, from the TV anime.

There are still many mysteries in the movie version, but we will continue to wait for further information!
