Hiro Shimono is loved by many people for his unique character, such as his love of fried bean curd, his ability to sing impromptu songs, and his pigeon chest. He also plays many characters with his pure voice, which can be described as an eternal boy's voice.

He has a strong impression of lively and enlivening characters such as Zenitsu Wagatsuma in "Demon Slayer" or cute characters such as Sho Kurusu in "Uta no Prince Sama!
