The "Eternal Demon Festival" comes once every 100 years. The main character, Finn's hometown is attacked by demons that have become active due to this event. Finn decides to join the "Red Dragon Knights" in order to defeat the demons and bring peace to the world.

Battles against enemies proceed on a turn-based system. A party of up to eight players, four in the main and four in the reserve, fight against each other. Each skill has a numerical value called "TU. The lower the TU value, the faster the interval between activation of a skill, and the more TU value, the slower. Basically, the more powerful a skill is, the more TU it tends to have, and the more mediocre it is, the less. The characters' actions are considered in light of these TUs.

In this game, monsters that would normally end up being defeated in a normal game can be made into friends. If you capture a monster that appears while moving around the map, you can use it as an asset to your party in the future. There are various types of monsters, including animals and statues, and they possess different skills and special abilities. The key to winning a battle is to understand the TU value for each skill, as well as the abilities of the monsters and their companions.
