Keiji Fujiwara, who played Hiroshi Nohara in "Crayon Shinchan" and Holland in "Eureka Seven," died of cancer. He was 55 years old.

On April 16, AIR AGENCY, the company of which Fujiwara Keiji is the representative director, announced that the voice actor passed away due to cancer on April 12, 2020.

According to his official website, Mr. Fujiwara, who had been battling cancer for some time, passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 55. The wake and farewell ceremony were held only with his relatives.

Mr. Fujiwara had portrayed many characters such as Hiroshi Nohara in "Crayon Shinchan," Mars Hughes in "Fullmetal Alchemist," Holland Novak in "Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN," Arie Al Sarses in "Mobile Suit Gundam 00," Sakuya Togane in "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass 2," Saneatsu in "Kotobuki Flying Squadron in the Wilderness," etc. He also played the role of the "Sacred Heart" in "Psylockered Curse. He is a popular voice actor who has portrayed numerous characters with his unique and strong acting style.

He also dubbed movies, voicing popular actors such as Willy Wonka and Robert Downey Jr.

He went on medical leave in August 2016 and announced his return in June 2017. Since his absence, voice actor Tomoyuki Morikawa has been filling in for Nohara Hiroshi, while Hiroaki Hirata, Kenjiro Tsuda, and others have taken over his role.
