Razer will release the Razer BlackWidow JP - Yellow Switch and other gaming grade keyboards and the Razer Kraken X - Mercury White gaming headset on Friday, April 24, 2020.

The devices to be released by Razer include the Razer BlackWidow JP - Yellow Switch gaming keyboard, Razer BlackWidow Lite JP, Razer BlackWidow Lite JP - Mercury White, Razer Cynosa Lite JP, and the Razer Kraken X - Mercury White gaming headset. Each has its own set of gaming-specific features, including the Razer Yellow Switch for quietness and response speed, and Razer Chroma, which allows for approximately 16.8 million color lighting settings. New Product Overview

Razer BlackWidow JP - Yellow Switch

The "Razer BlackWidow JP - Yellow Switch" is a new model of Razer's flagship mechanical gaming keyboard "Razer BlackWidow" series. The existing Japanese-language model uses "Razer Green Switch" mechanical switches, but this model uses "Razer Yellow Switch" switches, which are quieter and faster.

The Razer Yellow Switches are linear mechanical switches that do not have a click feel and gradually increase in load as the key is pressed down. The actuation point is 1.2 mm, shallower than that of a typical mechanical switch, and with a pressing pressure of 45 g, the switch responds immediately even to light touch input, as if the user were stroking the key. This ensures reliable and accurate operation even when continuous keystrokes or instantaneous reactions are required.

The Razer Chroma lighting system, a well-known feature of Razer devices, allows users to set the lighting to approximately 16.8 million colors, and when used in conjunction with the Razer Synapse 3 PC software, users can enjoy illumination synchronized with popular games, or flash when under attack. The user can also set up the lighting effects to suit his or her own preferences.

Other features include HyperShift*, which allows users to assign two functions to a single key, and hybrid storage that can be stored both in onboard memory and in the cloud. Up to five profiles can be stored in the hybrid storage. This allows keyboard operation in a customized state even if the environment in which the user is using the keyboard changes.

HyperShift" is a feature that allows users to set any key on ...... as a HyperShift key and change the key mapping to a different key mapping from the one normally assigned to all keys while pressing and holding the key.

Razer BlackWidow Lite JP (Mercury White)

The Razer BlackWidow Lite JP is a Japanese-language model of the popular tenkeyless mechanical keyboard Razer BlackWidow Lite. By adopting highly silent keyswitches and omitting some functions for gaming, the "Razer BlackWidow" has been optimized for use in business situations. It is available in two color variations: orthodox Black and Mercury White, which blends well with office environments.

Mechanical keyboards are appealing because of their unique keystroke sound, but using them in an office setting can be a problem because of the eyes of those around you. The Razer BlackWidow Lite JP uses the highly silent Razer Orange Switch key switches. While the click sound is suppressed, the keyboard has a firm tactile feel, allowing users to enjoy the keystroke sensation that only a mechanical keyboard can provide. The included O-ring can be attached to the keycaps for even quieter operation.

The design of the main unit features a flat aluminum plate for a simple style that blends well with an office environment. Razer Cynosa Lite JP

The Razer Cynosa Lite JP is a Japanese-language keyboard with some of the features of the Razer Cynosa Chroma, a Razer gaming grade keyboard with excellent cost performance at less than 5,000 yen including tax. It is suitable for those who are new to gaming keyboards.

The keyboard is equipped with quiet and fast membrane keyswitches that provide a soft keystroke feel. The keyboard is also splash-proof, with a drainage port on the back of the keyboard to drain water and other liquids that may have entered the keyboard, and features 10-key rollover and anti-ghosting functions.

Razer Kraken X - Mercury White

The Razer Kraken X - Mercury White is a lightweight headset that supports virtual 7.1 surround sound. In addition to its extremely light weight of approximately 250g, the headset is designed to be comfortable and easy to wear. The headband pads are soft to reduce pressure on the head, and the oval, over-the-ear ear pads are designed not to squeeze too much even when wearing glasses. The headphones are designed to be worn for long periods of time without fatigue, allowing the wearer to naturally immerse themselves in the game play.

The headphones are equipped with a 40mm-diameter neodymium magnet driver unit. The 3.5mm (4-pole) stereo mini jack allows connection to a wide range of devices from PCs to game consoles. In addition, Windows 10 (64-bit) PCs can be used for virtual 7.1-channel surround sound (activation code for dedicated software is also included).
