Spike Chunsoft has released details of three new titles to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Danganronpa.

Danganronpa" is a mystery action game in which high school students with superlative talents engage in a "colosseum" in a closed space and subsequently uncover the culprit of a murder case in a class trial. The first title in the series, "Danganronpa: School of Hope and High School Students of Despair," was released for the PSP on November 25, 2010.

The unique scenario, in which a group of high school students with top-notch talents gathered from all over the country engage in a "colosseum" in a closed space, is depicted in an investigation part in which they gather testimony and evidence while interacting with their friends, and in a class trial part in which they engage in two or three different arguments with their opponents, and the originality of the story and its unexpected developments have been praised by many game users. The originality of the story and the way it unfolded, which defied expectations, drew much praise from game users.

The series has since expanded into a series of four games, three numbered and one gaiden, for PS4, PS Vita, PC, and other platforms. The series is also very popular overseas, with cumulative shipments of the series exceeding 3.5 million units worldwide.

This year, 2020, marks the 10th anniversary of the "Danganronpa" series, and a trailer commemorating the 10th anniversary has been released.

Monthly live broadcasts will be held on Twitter to commemorate the 10th anniversary! Emi Ogata will be the main MC!

A live broadcast commemorating the 10th anniversary of "Danganronpa," "Dangan TV: Hope Moves Forward! will be held every month. The main MC will be voice actress Emi Ogata. Ms. Ogata plays the main character Makoto Naeki in "Danganronpa: School of Hope and High School of Despair" and Nagito Komaeeda in "Super Danganronpa 2: Sayonara Zetsubou Gakuen".

The first broadcast of this live broadcast will be on May 21, 2020. After that, it will be held on the third Thursday of every month. The main MC, Emi Ogata, and guests with deep ties to the "Danganronpa" series will look back on the 10-year history of the series and deliver related information as soon as possible.
