PS4 "Gran Turismo SPORT" April Update Available Today! Includes Toyota's flagship sports car, the Toyota GR Supra RZ '20

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) released the April update for its PlayStation 4 driving simulator Gran Turismo SPORT today, April 23, 2020.

Gran Turismo SPORT is a driving simulator released in 2017. It is the first PS4 exclusive title in the series and features dozens of different courses, in addition to further enhanced visual expressions, including the texture of the cars that appear in the game. This title is online-only, but only the arcade mode can be played offline.

The April update includes a new vehicle, the Toyota GR Supra RZ '20, Toyota's flagship sports car that was sadly discontinued in 2002 and revived at the 2019 North American International Auto Show.

The chief engineer of Toyota's flagship sports car, which inherited the inline 6-cylinder engine and rear drive, is Tetsuya Tada, who introduced the "86" to the world. Based on the slogan "Numbers are one thing, Feeling is what matters," he has promoted the creation of a car that appeals to the driver's senses.

The ideal body balance with a low center of gravity and 50:50 weight distribution between front and rear, powerful acceleration thanks to the twin-scroll turbo, and quick handling thanks to the wide body and short wheelbase are the result of pursuing the ideal of a pure sports car.

The glamorous and elegant form and the engine sound produced by the straight-six give it a unique aura.
