Conan and Akai from "Detective Conan" appear as Japanese sweets sitting on a plate! On sale at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide from 4/25 (Sat)!

The "EATEMASU" series of Japanese confectioneries based on character motifs includes "EATEMASU Detective Conan" and "EATEMASU Detective Conan: Shuichi Akai" based on the characters "Conan Edogawa" and "Shuichi Akai" from the popular anime "Detective Conan" (2 types, 258 yen each, tax excluded). Conan: Conan Edogawa" and "EATEMASU: Detective Conan: Shuichi Akai" (two types, 258 yen each, excluding tax) will be available at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide from April 25, 2020 (Saturday).

The "EATEMASU" is a brand of character wagashi, whose name is an abbreviation of "edible mascot," and uses bean paste, sugar, glutinous rice flour, and other ingredients to express the character's characteristics. These new type of wagashi are not only delicious, but also beautifully crafted and express the character's loveliness, so much so that you may think, "It's too cute to eat.

So far, "Rilakkuma," "Sumikko Gurashi," "One Piece," "Snoopy," "Disney characters," "Kirby," "Doraemon," "Sanrio characters," "Yokai Watch," "Kanahei's Little Animals," and "Usamaru" have been released, and their cuteness has become a hot topic.

This time, from the "EATEMASU" line, "EATEMASU DETECTIVE CONAN: EDOGAWA CONAN" and "AKAI SHUICHI", one of the popular characters in Detective Conan, are represented by Japanese sweets. Conan Edogawa and Shuichi Akai, one of the most popular characters in the series, are represented by Japanese sweets.

As the name "edible mascot" implies, all of the mascots are made of Japanese-style confectionery "nerikiri," or paste, and the "EATEMASU Detective Conan: Conan Edogawa" (custard flavor) is dressed in his trademark jacket and red bow tie, while the "EATEMASU Detective Conan: Shuichi Akai" is dressed in his striking monotone outfit. The "EATING MASS DETECTIVE CONAN: Shuichi Akai" (chocolate flavor) is available in two varieties: "EATING MASS DETECTIVE CONAN: Shuichi Akai" (chocolate flavor), which is dressed in his trademark jacket and red bow tie.

The two products are made with a lot of attention to detail, even in the expression on his face as he sits on the plate and gazes at you, and all colors are natural dyes, so you can eat them with peace of mind.

The product will be on sale at Seven-Eleven stores nationwide from April 25, 2020 (Saturday), so be sure to check it out when you see it.
