Akiba Research Institute Exclusive! An interview with Aina Suzuki and Himasa Omori, looking back on the year and a half that has passed with the Evil Gods, in commemoration of the start of "Evil Gods Dropkick'" broadcast!

Hey, Evil Gods! The long-awaited broadcast and distribution of "Evil Girl Dropkick" has started, but are you enjoying it every week? Or have you already watched all the episodes on TV?

On April 6, 2020, the second season of the anime "Jyakami-chan Dropkick" will start airing, and it has been breaking the rules of the anime industry every time with its out-of-the-box projects and events. The second season of "Jyoshin-chan Dropkick" will start airing on April 6, 2020. The gags are even snappier than the first season, and the characters, who have become even cuter, show us more violence and slapstick in their daily lives with the addition of new characters.

Akiba Research Institute conducted an exclusive interview with Aina Suzuki, who plays Evil Girl, and Himasa Omori, who plays Yurine Hanazono, two of the key characters in this work!

You can't help but be smitten by their love and passion for the work and the Evil Gods, as well as how well they get along with each other. This is a must-see!

─ ─ Finally, "Jyakami-chan Drop Kick'" has started to air. First of all, please tell us how you feel now!

Suzuki: "Finally," or rather, I've been waiting for it for a long time. We started postrecording last summer, and I was waiting for the colors and movements to come out. The second season has more characters and is more fun and playful.

This second season was given to us by the Evil Gods, so I would like to present it not only to the Evil Gods, but also to many people who don't know about Evil God-chan.

Omori: The structure of the first episode also starts with the scene where Evil Girl and Yurine meet, so it's easy to understand for those who have never seen "Evil Girl" before.

During the time between the end of the first season and the start of the second season, I had the opportunity to do a lot of sabbaticals and projects, so I was able to hear directly from the Evil Gods themselves. So I am looking forward to hearing their feedback.

─ ─ Please tell us about the charms and highlights of the second season of "Evil Girl Dropkick'.

Suzuki: The highlight is that Evil God-chan's scumbaggery has accelerated compared to the first season. Also, please pay attention to how Yurine fucks her!

Omori: The first recording of the first episode is impressive, and as I mentioned earlier, there is a scene at the beginning where the two meet. As I mentioned earlier, the scene where the two meet is at the beginning of the episode. We had already been working together for one cool season, so when we did the first test, it looked like we were getting along a little too well.

Suzuki: That was pointed out to us.

Omori: Since we were meeting for the first time, I was directed to forget about the first period and to give them a stranger-like feeling.

Suzuki: Yes, yes, I was told to be distant. That was quite difficult.

Omori: Also, there are lines like "summon...evil god..." that are suggestive, so I would like you to watch the first episode again and again to see what I mean. Also, Aina's performance. She played so many Evil Gods in the first episode. You must have had such a grand meeting in your brain (laughs).

Suzuki: Thinking that you were always having such grand meetings in your brain made me think of Evil God-chan.

Omori: Also, as has been the case since the first season, we have had some very splendid voice actors making guest appearances. Among them, I would have to say the janitor. She is voiced by Sumi Shimamoto!

Suzuki: I still remember the look on Hiyuga-chan's face at that moment. I still remember the look on Hiyuga-chan's face when she said, "Oh my God! I still remember the look on Hiyuga-chan's face at that moment.

Omori: Actually, Ms. Shimamoto was my teacher at the training school. So it was great to be able to work with him again on the set! I almost cried when I heard his voice. It was really precious!

─ ─ Speaking of "Evil God Dropkick," many projects and events have been held so far. What kind of projects would you like to do with "Jyoshin-chan" in the future?

Suzuki: We have been getting closer and closer to the Evil Gods through each sabbatical and other events, but I don't think there are many events like this where we can feel close to our fans. That's why I'm grateful for the "Jyoshin-chan" events. I even got to sing a song.

Omori Yes, Destiny Noisy's new song! We haven't performed it live yet! You did a free download project the other day, didn't you?

─ I heard that about 10,000 people downloaded it.

Omori: Wow, I'm so happy! We're doing this as a way to give something back to everyone.

Suzuki: Yes. I would like to repay everyone with a "thank you" through our actions.

Omori: I also want to go back to my roots. I want to return to Jimbocho!

Suzuki You mean you want to hold an event in Jimbocho?

Omori: We have been going around Jimbocho together in private, but surprisingly, we have never been to Jimbocho together for work, have we? If an event is too difficult, we could do a location show (laughs), and I would like to go around Jimbocho with the two of us. I want to walk around the area where Evil God and Yurine live and recreate their daily lives for us. So we want to go back to our roots!

Suzuki: We really want to go there. The origin is the pinnacle.

Omori You just said a good thing! Please emphasize this part.

───Finally, do you have any comments for our readers?

Omori: Although there has been a gap in time since the first season aired, the second season has finally begun! Thanks to all the staff who prepared for this situation, we were able to successfully broadcast the second season. I know that you spend a lot of time at home watching TV now, but I hope that you will take this opportunity to watch "Jyakami-chan" and fall in love with our work. We hope you will take this opportunity to watch "Evil Girl" and like our work, and we hope you will enjoy the broadcast to the very end. Thank you for your support!

Suzuki: The decision to do the second season of "Evil God Girl" was really made on the day of the "Sugo Saba" (*note), and we were talking about it from the rehearsal on that day, saying that there might not be a second season. Then, on the same day, we sold 2000 Blu-ray discs, and I said to the audience, "You are the one who bought the last 2000 discs! I said something like that at the venue. ......

*Sugo Saba...The "Amazing Sabat 2019" event was held in January 2019. The quota was set that if a total of 2000 Blu-ray&DVDs were not sold by the end of this event, the second season would not be aired. For a report on the day's events, check out this report!

It was truly thanks to the support of all the Evil Gods and each and every copy you picked up that we were able to successfully broadcast the second season of "Evil Gods. I am filled with gratitude to all of you, and that is why there is not a single place in the second season where we have relaxed our efforts. You can feel the effort that we, the cast and the staff, have put into this work, so please give us your support until the end!
