Pony Canyon's anime shopping site "Kyanime" has released a "New Sakura Wars" cast interview project.

New Sakura Taisen the Animation" is an anime adaptation of the PlayStationR4 software "New Sakura Taisen," starring Sakura Amamiya (voice: Ayane Sakura), a member of the "Teikoku Kagekidan: Hanagumi. It depicts a new story of "New Sakura Wars" centering on Sakura Amamiya.
The animation is directed by Manabu Ono, with series composition by Ono and Tatsuhiko Urahata, and animation production by Sanzigen Corporation, which also handles the opening image and animation movie parts for the game.
The opening song is the game's theme song, "Proclamation! Teikoku Kagekidan <New Chapter>" (lyrics by Oji Hiroi, music by Kohei Tanaka), which is also the game's theme song.
