Popular smartphone game "NANASIS" will be adapted into a theater anime! Tokyo 7th Sisters -Wakabacho ha Aozora ni Naru-" 1st teaser movie released!

Toei Animation announced that it will produce a completely new anime "Tokyo 7th Sisters - We are Blue Sky" based on the smartphone game "Tokyo 7th Sisters" and that it will be shown in theaters for a limited time in summer 2020.

Tokyo 7th Sisters" (nicknamed "NANASIS") is an idol fostering rhythm & adventure game produced by Donuts for smartphones.


Since its service launch in 2014, the game has been gripping the hearts of fans with more than 500 episodes of scenarios featuring a total of 50 idols. The number of registered users has exceeded 2 million.


Since 2015, live performances featuring the voice cast have been held at sold-out venues such as Makuhari Messe and Nippon Budokan. CDs and Blu-ray/DVDs containing footage of the live performances have also been released.


The newly announced "Tokyo 7th Sisters -We are Blue Sky" will be a 70-minute completely new anime featuring new original episodes not depicted in the game.


Shintaro Mogi, who has worked on the planning, original story, script, series composition, music and live performances as the general director of "Tokyo 7th Sisters," is in charge of the original plan, script and music producer for this anime as well. The main unit of "NANASIS," "777☆SISTERS," will play the leading roles in the anime, which will weave a moving story based on the many episodes that have been developed in the game so far.
