PS4's "The Last of Us Part II" is set for release on June 19! Ghost of Tsushima, an action-adventure set in medieval Japan, will be released on July 17!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SEE) has announced new release dates for PS4 titles "The Last of Us Part II" and "Ghost of Tsushima". Both titles had been delayed due to a new coronavirus infection.

The Last of Us Part II" is the sequel to "The Last of Us," a survival action game that has won over 200 awards worldwide. Ellie, who has been living in Jackson, Wyoming with Joel, the protagonist of the previous film, sets out on a journey of revenge after a certain incident. As she hunts down one target after another, she soon comes face to face with the horrific chain of events created by her own actions.

Ghost of Tsushima" is an action adventure set in late 13th century Japan. The story follows the battle of Hitoshi Sakai, a "Meijin" who will stop at nothing to win the war to protect Tsushima from an invasion by a large fleet of ships of the Mongol Empire.

Hermen Hulst, general manager of SIE Worldwide Studios (WWS), announced in a PlayStation.Blog post that "The Last of Us Part II" will be released on Friday, June 19 and "Ghost of Tsushima" on Friday, July 17.
