Raiatto Games' completely new card game "Legend of Runeterra" is available today, May 1!

Raiatto Games officially released the PC and mobile strategy card game "Legends of Runeterra" (abbreviated "LoR") today, May 1, 2020 (Friday). Basic play is free (with in-game item charges), and the PC version can be downloaded from the official website of Raiatto Games, while the smartphone version (iOS/Android) can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. In conjunction with the official release, the first expansion set, "The Looming Wave," has also been implemented.

LoR" is a completely new game from RIAT Games, creators of the world-famous strategy game "League of Legends" (LoL), which has over 100 million players.

The setting is the world of "League of Legends. Players choose a champion (character) and build an ideal deck by combining cards from different regions, each with its own unique style and strategic advantage, to fight battles.

LoR" features a player-friendly card acquisition system that allows players to easily acquire the cards they want and build their own decks. All cards can be obtained for free as you progress through the game, but if you want to get the cards you want right away, you can also purchase them.

The expansion set "The Looming Wave," which was implemented in conjunction with the official release of the game, features the new region of Bilgewater, a port city inhabited by rough-and-tumble pirates. Along with more than 120 cards, this set adds 11 champions, including Miss Fortune, Fizz, and Gangplank, who are well-known from "League of Legends. Six new card mechanics will also be introduced for even deeper gameplay.
