Let's recreate "My Room" in miniature! Re-Ment "Petit Sample Series: Come to My House? I tried playing with "Petit Sample Series: Come to My House? Recommended! Shokugan Road Vol.9

Hello everyone! This is Kariyasu☆, a hobby writer. In this corner, I will be reviewing, modifying, and playing with the Shokugan kits that interest me, under the theme of "Shokugan for adults. In this 9th installment, I'll be introducing the "Petit Sample Series: Come to My House? from Re-Ment!

The Petit Sample Series is popular for allowing anyone to create miniature daily scenes and fancy spaces without any difficult knowledge or skills.

The theme this time is "a man's room living alone. You can create your own room by collecting a variety of items, from large items such as a sofa, table, and TV to small items such as beer cans, keys, smartphones, and instant yakisoba noodles!

By the way, if you want to create a room like the one in the photo, we definitely recommend you to buy the box, which comes with all 8 sets from the beginning and even includes sheets reproducing the floor and walls.

Inside the box are pre-colored miniatures of furniture and food (no assembly required), as well as sheets and stickers of magazines and tissue boxes that you can cut out and assemble yourself. All you need is a pair of scissors and some glue, and you can start making them right away!

All the parts are assembled. Magazines and tissue boxes are already assembled, and some stickers are already attached. For size comparison, an actual 100 yen coin is placed at the bottom right!

Every detail has been reproduced! Let's take a closer look!

Although they are quite small and difficult to see, I found the attached sheets and stickers to be playful and interesting in their design and indications!

Credit card bill and convenience store receipt. I like that the products listed on the receipts properly match the miniatures that come with them.

Electronic money (IC card commuter pass), business card, driver's license, and cabaret club business card. On the back of the cabaret club business card, there is a message from the cabaret club properly ......!

A page from my graduation album and an ex-girlfriend? A purikura taken with her ex-girlfriend. I feel the message is also very particular.

A bottle of wet wipes and a package of retort beef bowl. I can't help but grin. There are many other playful elements, so please take a look and find them in person!

Let's make it even tastier!

The potato chips and yakisoba noodles included in the package are realistic enough as they are, but we went to the trouble of smudging them to make them look even more delicious!

Just by diluting the red-brown enamel color thinly and smudging lightly, I think I was able to give the yakisoba a "saucy" look and the potato chips a "burnt" look. I think it is possible to reproduce the hot and spicy yakisoba and potato chips by using the red color and reapplying it or smudging it lightly!

*Smudging...... is a technique in which enamel paints are diluted with a special solvent and poured into the concave areas of a model to darken them and create a three-dimensional effect. Once you experience the sensation of paint flowing smoothly by capillary action, it is inevitable that you will become addicted to it!

Let's fantasize and create freely! My Room

From here, I would like to explain the rooms of three men who live alone, each with its own mini story, that I created based on my own imagination!

Soccer and muscle training are my life! The room of a highly conscious employee in Alaska.

What's going on?

He muttered to himself as he watched the live soccer match between Japan and Austria while doing his abdominal roller. He enjoys muscle training at home and playing futsal with his colleagues at work on weekends. Recently, he has been trying to be popular by putting an aroma diffuser in his room and listening to a song by Kenji Yonezu, a popular artist. And his dinner today was the same as usual: a protein drink and petit calories.

→He is a man whose motto is "Work hard, play hard! is the motto of this room. The TV stand is a fun idea to make the glass door part with a plastic plate!

I love idols and video games! The room of a nerdy college student who loves idols and video games!

"All right, I'll finish the game before morning!"

While chomping on his favorite potato chips, he announced that he and his male friends from his circle would stay up all night to clear the newly released gaming game "Petit Fighter". He has a lecture tomorrow morning, but he seems unconcerned about that. On the wall is a poster of the idol group "RMT57," which he has supported since high school, and on the shelf is a piggy bank of 500 yen coins that he has been steadily saving (he plans to release them all at an idol event next week). Long live the otaku life!

→The joy of reading friends and playing games all night long is extraordinary. On the calendar, I actually drew something that looks like an event schedule with a red pen. The game console and controller omit the cords, so I think it will be even more realistic if you make your own with vinyl tubing, etc!

Every day after the last train! Room of a new employee who is lazy!

Oh, it's already 8 o'clock! Oh no, I'm going to be late for the meeting.

He exclaimed and rushed out of the house. He left the lid open on his wax, and the garbage can he kicked over was full of the cup noodles he had eaten last night. The robot vacuum cleaner he bought with his own money was left unused, and he didn't seem to notice that the retort-packed beef bowl had expired. And it was only after he arrived at the station that he realized that he had left the envelope containing the materials for the meeting and his commuter pass in his room. ......

→This room was the most fun to make! I wanted to make it messy, so I didn't put a sofa, creating the feeling of living on the ground. the black screen on the TV was recreated by cutting my own black paper between the two. The mirror on the table would be even more realistic if you put a commercially available mirror finish or something similar on it!

The size is like this!

How did you like it? I think it would be fun to combine them with the "Petit Sample Series" released in the past, or to make your own furniture and walls. We will see you next month!
