Five must-see web-streamed anime selected by anime writers to enjoy at home during GW!

Introducing web-delivered anime that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home during Golden Week! Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045", the latest anime of the cyberpunk sci-fi "Ghost in the Shell", "OBSOLETE", an original robot anime based on Gen Urobuchi's original idea, "Ninja Box", based on the Nintendo Switch RPG, "Castlevania - Castle Vania", based on Konami's popular game series "Castlevania Castlevania" based on the popular Konami game series "Castlevania", and "Zashikiwarashi no Tatami-chan", the first anime directed by manga artist Rensuke Oshikiri.

Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045

Kenji Kamiyama of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" and Shinji Aramaki of "Appleseed. The two directors, who have been adapting Masamune Shirow's original comics into films, teamed up again following "ULTRAMAN. The greatest feature of this film is that it is the first full 3DCG animation in the "Ghost in the Shell" series, or rather, the first to employ motion capture.
In this film, the actors' plays are actually filmed and reflected in the characters' movements, and the actions performed by Motoko Kusanagi, a cyborg with a full-body prosthesis, are brilliant. What is even more memorable, however, is the human-like behavior of Togusa, who is almost fully alive. Togusa is the only one who bows to the mother of a suspect, Togusa knocks down his enemies with kung fu while emitting a monstrous bird sound, and Togusa quietly exits the room while making a "sorry" pose with one hand after making a mistake during an undercover operation in the Dark Web. In contrast, the mysterious Post-Humans, who hold the key to the story, confront Section 9 with their astonishing physical abilities, which, as their name implies, are not human. What will happen when Togusa and the Post-Humans, two opposites of each other, meet?

OBSOLETE

This original CG animation depicts a battlefield that changes with the emergence of the Exoframe, a general-purpose robot, in an omnibus format with each episode lasting approximately 15 minutes. Exo-frames are used as weapons for the poor because they can be obtained cheaply for certain reasons, and are often treated as disposable. The muddy battle methods are exciting, such as crashing the aircraft itself by crashing it into a helicopter or overwhelming tanks in guerrilla warfare by crossing a river with the cockpit exposed.
The aircraft can be piloted by conscious control via the brain. Once you get used to it, you can control it even without being in the cockpit, and the synchronized movements of the pilot and the exoframe are very pleasing to the eye. The second half of the series is scheduled for distribution in winter 2020.

Ninja Box

This is a comedy anime about Hiroto Tobita, a fifth grader who lives in a house without walls due to his parents' policy that "walls are not necessary between families. The highlight is the ninjas, who have a variety of abilities. The main attraction is Tansanman, who flies through the air with carbon dioxide coming out of his crotch, Dash Rango, who loves cars so much that he becomes one, and Kishi Men, who flies around with udon noodles shot from his wrists wrapped around him.
Since the title is based on a Bandai Namco Entertainment title, there are also collaborative episodes with the company's popular "Taiko no Tatsujin" game. The story, however, takes a surreal turn when Hiroto, who has become a taiko drummer, is struck repeatedly on the buttocks by a strong man and becomes strangely tense. ...... Veteran voice actors such as Shigeru Chiba and Cho provide support, and the cast's hilarious theatrics add to the crazy story.

Castlevania

This dark fantasy follows the exploits of three heroes who stand up to stop the vampire Dracula's plan to annihilate mankind. As in the game on which the game is based, the game features a variety of weapons, most notably the whip used by the vampire hunter Trevor. The mysterious morning star, which explodes when it hits an enemy, is an excellent gimmick for enjoying the effects. The sorcerer Cypher is a versatile type that can handle both fire and ice. She is a heroine who is brave enough to shoot flames from her hands, fly through the air, and hurl ice cubes at the viewer.
Season 3, the latest in the series, takes place after the defeat of Dracula. It opens with a shocking sequence in which Dracula's son Alucard, who has left Trevor and his family to live in Devil's Castle, performs a one-man show with a puppet because he cannot stand the loneliness of his life. This film, which teaches us the fact that living alone is lonely even for a vampire, is a film that should be seen only now that people are urged to refrain from going out.

Zashiki Warashi no Tatami

Tatami-chan, a yokai from Higashino, Iwate Prefecture, arrives in Tokyo and is tossed about by the big city in this four-minute mini-animation. The limited materials are skillfully used to create a unique tempo, and Tatami-chan's gestures, such as jumping up and down in anger and lying on the ground to beg for mercy, are drawn in a repetitive drawing style that is quite charming.
In the third episode, the cast cast includes BB Goro, a pin-up comedian who has been featured in the anime's "POPTEPIC" series and is also featured in the "POPTEPIC" series.
