───What was your first impression of this work and how did you feel after reading the original work?

Amano: My first impression of "KYU-YOUEI" was "A cute girl playing baseball all the time ......! I was like, "A cute girl plays baseball all the time! I remember reading it in one sitting because it was so wonderful and interesting to see her devote her life to baseball and devote all her energy to it. I remember reading it in one sitting. I think that part of the story is depicted well in the anime as well, and the appeal of both the original story and the anime is that they are full of love for baseball. I also like the fact that even the characters from the other high school are full of charm.

───What do you find attractive about Tamahime Yamazaki, the character you play, and what are you conscious of when playing her?

Amano: I think it's wonderful that she is cat-like to Eishin-chan, and that it is clear that she really cares about her even though she seems to be harsh and harsh. She is a character who is good at analyzing things, so her calm side comes out a lot, but I am conscious of bringing out her high school girl side without being too cool.

─ Do you have any baseball experience or baseball-related episodes yourself?

Amano: I enjoyed playing baseball in physical education class, so my mother bought me a glove and we practiced as a family. Also, my grandfather loved high school baseball, but none of us could play baseball because we are sisters. So I was very happy to be able to play the role of a baseball player this time.

──Do you have any episodes from the recording sessions or episodes with your battery partner, Kaori Maeda, who plays Eishin Takeda?

Amano: I thought it was important for the battery to support each other and have a relationship of trust, so I had a lot of opportunities to talk with Ms. Maeda, especially when we started recording, and we went to baseball games together. However, I enjoyed talking with Maeda-san so much that I soon forgot the purpose of talking with him, which was for the battery!

Rather than supporting each other, I was more like a piggyback for Mr. Maeda, which was very different from the relationship between Eishin-chan and Tamahime (laughs).

──We have reached the midpoint of the broadcast.

Amano: In the first half of the episode, we confirm each player's thoughts on baseball, and from the middle of the episode, we study a more focused style of play based on those thoughts and the bonds that have been formed, and form the "Shinetsu Nine's Baseball".

Another key point is that Tamahime seems to be getting along better with Wing-China, as she becomes more and more bitter toward him!

─ You sang the ED theme song "Plus Minus Zero Law." Could you tell us about the episode when you recorded the song and your impression of the song?

Amano: It is a very refreshing song, and when I listen to it, I get the impression of a clear sky in my mind. I was very happy to hear the song, as it was perfect for the Shin-Etsu Nine, who are running toward their dreams. My recording was in the latter half of the song, and I was very motivated by the messages left on the music stand by everyone who had recorded up to that point!

─ By the way, what kind of club activities were you involved in when you were a student?

Amano: I was in the tea ceremony club, but at first I couldn't join for about six months because I didn't know where the tea room was in the school (laughs). (laughs). At the school festival, everyone wore kimonos, which was gorgeous and fun.

───Finally, do you have any comments for the viewers?

Amano: You can look at the cute girls! You can feel the youth in the everyday, baseball practice scenes! Or you can get excited about the games! Whether you like baseball or are not familiar with it, you will definitely enjoy this anime. Please support the Shin-Etsu Nine! Let's watch "KYU-YOUEI" and be young again!
