Evangelion and the high-end earphone brand "final" collaborate! EVA2020 x final" to go on sale in June!

SNEXT, a Japanese audio manufacturer, will release "EVA2020 x final Complete Wireless Earphone" and "EVA2020 x final 3D Audio Earphone" in June 2020, a collaboration between its luxury earphone brand "final" and "Evangelion The estimated price is $3,000. The EVA2020 × final completely wireless earphones will be priced at 19,800 yen (including tax), and the EVA2020 × final 3D Audio Earphones will be priced at 2,980 yen (including tax).

The "EVA2020 × final Complete Wireless Earphone" is a newly designed and completely original wireless earphone with a motif of each Evangelion aircraft. The lineup includes three models: Unit 1, Unit 2, and Mark.06.

The packaging is completely original design with a motif of waveforms representing the synchronization rate in the work, and the original guide voice by operator Maya Ibuki (CV: Miki Nagasawa) is included, allowing the user to feel the world view of Evangelion.

In terms of sound quality, the acoustic characteristics of the drivers and other components have been pursued so that the sound quality is satisfactory even without a software equalizer. Only the high frequencies are slightly compensated for by the equalizer. This allows users to enjoy well-balanced sound that combines clear vocals and powerful bass.

The Bluetooth version is 5.0 and supports SBC, AAC, and Qualcomm aptX audio codecs. The earphones themselves have a playback time of 6 hours with aptX playback and 9 hours with SBC/AAC playback. When using the charging case, the earbuds can play for up to 63 hours.

Also included are five sizes of the newly designed "TYPE E Complete Wireless Specification" earpieces from "final". The earpieces are softly fitted at the entrance of the ear canal, so there is almost no foreign body sensation.

The product is scheduled to go on sale to the general public in June 2020, but will be available for pre-order on NTV's shopping site "Nitteleposhle" prior to this. EVA2020 x final 3D Audio Earphone

The "EVA2020 x final 3D Audio Earphones" will be released simultaneously with the "EVA2020 x final 3D Audio Earphones," featuring a completely original design of not only the earphones themselves, but also the packaging with motifs such as the moon's surface and the number of the first plane in the film. The earphone jacks are designed with a motif of umbilical cables that are powered from the back of the Evangelion in the film.

In terms of sound quality, the design is the result of research into the differences between sound sources produced using 2-channel stereo technology and those produced using binaural technology. The driver is a 6.4mm dynamic type. The earpieces come in five sizes (SS, S, M, L, LL).
