Shooting game "SEGA AGES Thunder Force AC" for Switch will be distributed on May 14!

SEGA will begin distributing the shooting game "SEGA AGES Thunder Force AC" for Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop on Thursday, May 14, 2020. The price is 999 yen (including tax).

SEGA AGES Thunder Force AC" is a remake of the popular Mega Drive shooting game "Thunder Force III" by the original staff. It will be released as a new download-only title for the Nintendo Switch with additional player aircraft and a lower difficulty mode.

In addition to the "Arcade Mode," which is a faithful port of the arcade version of "Thunder Force AC," this title offers a low difficulty "Kids Mode" for players who find the arcade mode too difficult.

In addition, the aircraft in this title can be selected on the menu, and are linked in both Arcade and KIDS modes. No matter which mode the aircraft appears in, it can be used in both modes. Four types of aircraft are available: FIRE LEO-03 STYX, FIRE LEO-03MP STYX Mass Product, FIRE LEO-04 RYNEX, and FIRE LEO-04 RYNEX (with thunder sword).
