It was announced that the video distribution of the special events held in 2019 for the anime "The Bride of the Fifth Class" will start anytime from May 16, 2020. Daily video commercials will also be uploaded on the official Twitter.

Bride of the Fifth Estate" is based on the manga of the same title by Haruba Negi, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) and was completed in the 12th issue released today. The manga is currently in its 13th volume and has sold a total of more than 10 million copies.The second season of the TV anime "The Bride of the Five Equals"will start airing in October 2020 andis directed by Kaori of "Endoro~! The series composition is by Keiichiro Ochi, the same as the previous work, and the animation is produced by Vively Animation Studio of "Azure Lane" fame.

The "Bride of the Fifth Class SPECIAL EVENT 2020 in Nakano Sun Plaza" was scheduled to be held on May 16, 2020, but due to the new coronavirus, the event was moved to next year.

In order to let the many fans who were looking forward to the event and those who have been living at home longer enjoy the event as much as possible, it was announced that a video streaming of the special event held last May 5 at Yomiuri Hall in Tokyo would be made available on short notice.

The event brought together a superb lineup of voice actors: Sadashijo Matsuoka (Futaro Uesugi), Kana Hanazawa (Ichika Nakano), Ayana Taketatsu (Futano Nakano), Mirai Ito (Miku Nakano), Ayane Sakura (Yotsuba Nakano), and Inori Minase (May Nakano). The contents of the event included a fun talk session in which they talked about their love for each character and work after the first season, a game in which the five children were asked to name the scene in the OP that would wake them up as a reward, an original reading play written especially for this event, Aya Uchida singing the ending theme "Sign," the five children of the Nakano family singing the song "Gobun no ichi" (inserted into episode 12), and the five children of the Nakano family performing the song "Gobun no ichi" (inserted into episode 12). The event will also feature a power performance of the opening theme song "Gobun no ichi" by the Nakano family's five children, and the first transmission of the video footage from the event.

To commemorate the first distribution of this event video, a "daily video commercial" will be uploaded on the official Twitter account from May 11 to 16, which will be re-edited with newly-recorded voices of each voice actor. Please be sure to check it out as well.
