Production of the original anime "The Day God Became God" by Jun Maeda, Na-Ga, and P.A.WORKS has been decided! Scheduled to air from October 2020!

Ten years after the broadcast of the TV anime "Angel Beats!" and five years after the broadcast of "Charlotte," the third original anime project by Key, ANIPLEX, and P.A.WORKS, "The Day God Became God," is now in production. Broadcast is scheduled for October 2020.

The main staff will be led by Jun Maeda (VISUAL ARTS/Key) for the original story and script, Na-Ga (VISUAL ARTS/Key) for the original character design, and P.A.WORKS for the animation production, as in "Angel Beats!

Hina, a girl who wakes up as a god, foresees "the end of the world. Then, she chooses a boy. The story of Hina as a companion who spends her life until the end of the world and watches over her will unfold in this work. In the teaser PV released today, Hina and a boy-like silhouette are depicted with a sad music box melody.

A special program will be broadcast on May 24 (Sun.)!

In addition, it has been decided that the "New Anime "The Day God Became a God" Prologue Special Program: Key and Jun Asae's Moving Trail" will be broadcast on Sunday, May 24, 2020, from 8:30 p.m. on TOKYO MX.

It is a documentary program that follows Key and Jun Maeda up to the decision to make an anime adaptation of "The Day God Became a God."
