The "Rebuild of Evangelion" series ":Introduction", ":Break", and ":Q" will be distributed free of charge on LINE LIVE starting May 14!

LINE has launched the "Evangelion x LINE Project," a collaboration project with the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series that has been in theaters since 2007. As the first step of the project, three films from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series will be distributed for free on the live-streaming service "LINE LIVE" from May 14, 2020.

LINE has been developing various projects in the past, and in 2019, "Operation 0706 of 'Shin Evangelion the Movie'" was broadcast live on "LINE LIVE" at the JAPAN EXPO held in Paris, France. Also, in the summer of 2016, in commemoration of the release of "Shin Godzilla," directed by Hideaki Anno, the general director of the film, "Let's watch it together! Neon Genesis Evangelion," episodes 1 through 26 of the TV series were distributed.

This time, as the new coronavirus caused an extended period of self-restraint from going out of the house, and contact with other people was diminished, "Let's all watch it together! the company is offering an online viewing experience of the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series.

The three films that will be streamed live this time are "Rebuild of Evangelion: Introduction" (Thursday, May 14, 9:00 p.m.), "Rebuild of Evangelion: Destruction" (Sunday, May 17, 9:00 p.m.), and "Rebuild of Evangelion: Q" (Wednesday, May 20, 9:00 p.m.).

In addition, "Ikkimi" distribution of the three films, ":Introduction", ":Break", and ":Q", is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. on May 23 (Sat). Until You come to me." and "evangelion:Another Impact (Confidential)," which were shown at the "Japan Anime (Tater) Trade Fair," will also be distributed live.
