As you can see, among the many Ono D characters, the one that came in first place, far ahead of the second place and below, was Susumu Ancient, the main character of "Space Battleship Yamato 2199. As you know, "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" is a revival version of the once very popular "Space Battleship Yamato" anime. The main character, Susumu Ancient, is the kind of hero that boys of the past longed to be. The strong impression of Takashi Toyama, who played the role of the first Susumu Ancient, made it a hot topic of debate as to who would voice the new Susumu Ancient. It is no exaggeration to say that this was truly a great performance by Ono D. He was a human and passionate man, sometimes passionate, sometimes tearful, and truly in his element.

After Susumu Kogaku, the second place went to Erwin Smith, who appears in "The Giants of Progress. Erwin Smith, the leader of the Scout Regiment, is one of the important key characters in the film. He is strong, calm, and actually kind. He is a nice guy whom everyone admires. Who else but D. Ono could have voiced Erwin Smith? No one would argue that Ono D was the perfect voice for Erwin.

But strong, cool, and hot-blooded is not the only charm of Ono D. Sebastian Michaelis, the protagonist of "Black Butler," who came in third place, is in a sense the complete opposite of the above two, a thin, somewhat evil, and enigmatic character who does not show his emotions very much. However, in the hands of Ono D, even this emotionally stifled performance comes alive with a truly magical charm. This is a representative character that shows the breadth of Ono D's acting range.

Fourth place is even more impressive. Two characters were ranked in a tie, and one of them, Matsuno Jushimatsu from "Osomatsu-san," is probably the most outlandish character among those six problem children. Basically, Jyushimatsu only thinks about baseball and is always looking in the wrong direction. His favorite saying is "Hustle hustle hustle! Muscle muscle! He is a completely crazy character, but in the hands of Ono D, he seems so natural. I could not help but wonder if this was actually Ono D's true nature, and I would say that he is the most outlandish of the characters.

On the other hand, Jotaro Sorajo of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," who came in fourth in the same ranking, is also a kind of outlandish character. He is a hot-blooded man, but he is neither a humanistic hero like Susumu Ancient nor a cool hero like Erwin Smith. He has many battle scenes and many harsh and harsh lines, and he is quite a strange hero, but of course, with Ono D's voice and acting, it is a wonder that it all makes sense so naturally. Anyway, Ono D's performance is unparalleled, not only in terms of his original voice, but also in terms of the degree to which his acting is outrageous.

The other unique characters were also in the top six, including Shizuo Heiwajima of "Durarara! Heiwajima Shizuo of "Durarara!" is the strongest man in Ikebukuro. Shintaro Midorima of "Kuroko's Basketball" is a cool basketball prodigy, and Riki Kendo of "Saiki Kusuo no Ψ Nan" is a natural idiot. Whether hot-blooded, cool-headed, or a natural idiot, Ono's ability to do just about anything is astonishingly broad. The golem in "Somali and the God of the Forest," which came in ninth place, is no longer even human, and his extremely inorganic performance was impressive. He played a handsome, fresh-looking guy, not unlike Ono D (pardon the pun!), and is probably a valuable character nowadays.

The list below, ranked 11th, is also full of impressive characters, so be sure to check them out below.

The results of the poll reminded us once again of the breadth of Ono D's acting range. He really is perfect in everything he does! That's our Daisuke Ono, aka Ono D! Once again, happy birthday!
