<Story>
I want to help you. I want to be told that I love you.
Sasaki Miyo is a cheerful eighth grade junior high school girl who is always upbeat. Her classmates call her "Muguet (Infinity Mystery Man)" because of her unpredictable behavior. In reality, however, she is very considerate of those around her and spends her days suppressing her emotions, contrary to her nickname "Mugen (Infinite Mystery Man).
Every day, Muguet boldly makes advances toward his classmate Kento Hinode, but his advances are met with no response at all. She is undeterred and continues to appeal to him, but she has a secret that she can't tell anyone.
She has a secret that she can't tell anyone: she takes the form of a cat and goes to see Hinode, whom she loves very much.
One night at a summer festival, the owner of a cat mask store gave Muge a mysterious mask that, when worn, transformed her into a cat, and ever since then she has been going to Hinode's house as Taro the cat.
Normally, Hinode acts coolly, but he is able to confide his honest feelings only to Taro, and Taro has gradually become Hinode's support.
≪When they are "humans," they are distant from each other, but when they are "cats," they are close to each other. Muge, too, finds the freedom of not having to worry about her relationship with others when she is a cat, and gradually becomes comfortable with it. The longer he spends as a cat, the more blurred the boundary between himself and cats becomes.
One day, the owner of the cat store reappears and asks Muge to exchange her "face" for a cat's "mask," forcing her to give up her "human" identity and live as a "cat.
I want to stay by your side forever. But I will never be able to return to "I" again.
Who is supporting me? When they realize what is important to them, their world begins to change.
