35th Anniversary! First "Angels Only" and "Devils Only" Bikkuriman Chocolates! Angels will go on sale first in eastern Japan and devils in western Japan from May 26!

Lotte will release "Tenshi Dakkake no Bikkuriman Chocolates" and "Demon Dakkake no Bikkuriman Chocolates" on May 26, 2020 (Tuesday), the first time to collect angel-only and demon-only head characters from the first to the 32nd rounds, to celebrate the "35th Anniversary of Demon vs. Angel". They will be priced at 80 yen (excluding tax).

Bikkuriman Chocolates" were created based on the concept of "surprising and astonishing people," and have been a long-selling wafer chocolate snack with stickers and crunchy cookie crumbs since their launch in 1977.
Since that time, extra stickers have been enclosed inside, and at the time of its release, they were called "Dokkiri stickers," with photorealistic illustrations such as "electric sockets" and "spilled ink" that tickled children's mischievous hearts.

The catalyst for Bikkuriman's success was the "Bikkuriman Demon vs. Angel Series," released in 1985. The series featured designs of Super Zeus and other characters, and the inclusion of a storyline and head stickers stimulated the desire to collect them. At its peak, the series sold approximately 400 million units per year, was adapted into an anime and manga series, and became a huge boom.

The year 2020 will mark the 35th anniversary of the 1985 release of the "Bikkuriman Demon vs. Angel" series.

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Devil vs. Angel, BICCELIMAN will for the first time release "BICCELIMAN Chocolates Full of Angels" and "BICCELIMAN Chocolates Full of Devils," a collection of angel-only and devil-only head characters from the first 32 BICCELIMANs.

The top 10 angel and devil head character stickers, chosen by BICRYMAN illustrators, are ranked by fan votes, and the new Super Zeus and Super Devil stickers are also newly drawn this time. This is a dream come true, as all of the past Angel and Demon Head characters have been reprinted.

The "Bikkuriman Chocolates Full of Angels", which will be sold first in eastern Japan (including Shizuoka), will have a total of 95 glitter stickers, while the "Bikkuriman Chocolates Full of Devils", which will be sold first in western Japan (excluding Shizuoka), will have a total of 89 glitter stickers.

The new attempt to separate the sales areas for angels and demons is also being made, so be sure to check it out.
