New information on PS4/Switch's "Indivisible: The Souls Who Purge the Darkness" is now available! Exploration, battles, and new characters expanded by the awakening of the main character, Ajna.
Spike Chunsoft has released new information on the PS4/Switch title "Indivisible: The Souls Who Purge the Darkness," scheduled for release on July 16, 2020.
In this side-scrolling action RPG, players control the main character, Ajna, as she navigates through a field with a mix of different terrains and gimmicks. When the player comes into contact with an enemy during exploration, he or she is plunged into a party battle with up to four characters. The fighting style changes dramatically depending on the composition of the companions, and the game also features combo building by combining attacks. The original version of this title was released overseas in October 2019 and has been highly acclaimed by both users and the media for its unique system as well as the opening animation by Japanese animation studio Trigger.
The new actions of the main character, Ajna, who has awakened, have now been revealed. When Ajna awakens, her skin turns blue and a third eye appears on her forehead. Her physical abilities are greatly enhanced, and she can explore the field with powers that are impossible in her normal state, such as breaking rocks with a dash or destroying the floor with an axe attack. During battle, the "yiddy gauge" needed to launch powerful attacks is increased, and up to three can be stocked, which seems to allow more special techniques to be incorporated into a single combo.
In addition, information on the characters encountered in the "Almuta Desert" and "Maelifa Port" has also been released. Please check the details below.

■Fields
Almuta Desert
The Almuta Desert is a desert adjacent to the Maelifa Port. A ferocious sandstorm blocks the way of Ajna and her team, making it impossible for them to proceed. Ajna's awakened superhuman strength is needed to get through. The underground ruins in the desert are inhabited by giant sandworms. Some paths are blocked by the huge sandworms, but if you stimulate their tails with an axe or bow and arrow, they will retreat and you will be able to proceed.
Maelifa Port
A port town also known as "the gateway to the world," a trading port where many ships come and go, and people from all over the world come and go. At the center of Maelifa Port stands the "Tower of Wisdom," where wise men reside. Maelifa Port appears peaceful at first glance, but when Ajna and her friends arrive at the port, it is under the control of the Iron Kingdom. The port is sealed off, no supplies are coming in, and the city is under the watchful eye of Iron Kingdom soldiers.
