PS4 "Gran Turismo SPORT" May Update Available Today! Next Generation Rotary Racing "MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT" Included!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) released the May update for its PlayStation 4 driving simulator Gran Turismo SPORT today, May 22, 2020.

Gran Turismo SPORT is a driving simulator released in 2017. It is the first PS4 exclusive title in the series and features dozens of different courses, in addition to further enhanced visual expressions, including the texture of the cars that appear in the game. The title is online-only, but only the arcade mode can be played offline.

This month's update includes a new vehicle, the MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT concept car presented at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

The design theme is "KODO - Soul of Motion. The model challenges Mazda's concept of the most beautiful FR sports car shape and is equipped with the next-generation rotary engine (RE) SKYACTIV-R, expressing the dream that Mazda hopes to realize someday.

In conjunction with the recording of the MAZDA RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT, the special events "RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT Time Trial Challenge" and "RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT REVIVAL Design Contest" will be held from today, May 22, 2020.
