GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA, an 18-meter life-size Gundam exhibition facility, cancels its limited advance program and postpones its main opening.
Evolving G has announced the cancellation of the "Special Experience," a limited-edition program that allowed visitors to take a special pre-opening tour of the GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA, an 18-meter full-scale moving Gundam exhibition facility, originally scheduled for July 2020. In addition, the decision was made to postpone the opening, which was scheduled for October.
The "Gundam Global Challenge" project has been in the planning stages since 2014, aiming to realize the dream of moving an 18-meter full-scale Gundam and opening it to the public. As part of the project, "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" was scheduled to open in Yokohama for one year from October 2020.
However, in light of the spread of the new coronavirus, the company has decided to postpone the opening in order to ensure the safety of visitors, employees, and related parties.
The opening is scheduled for the end of this year, and will be announced as soon as it is decided.
