TV anime "The Day I Became a God" scheduled to air in October, director Yoshiyuki Asai and Ayane Sakura's "Charlotte" duo are back!

Original anime "The Day I Became a God" by Key x ANIPLEX x P.A.WORKS, scheduled to air from October 2020. The film will be directed by Yoshiyuki Asai, who directed the previous work "Charlotte". It was also announced that the main heroine, Hina, will be played by Ayane Sakura, who played Nao Tomori in "Charlotte".

This is the third original anime produced by Key, ANIPLEX, and P.A.WORKS, 10 years after "Angel Beats" and 5 years after "Charlotte" aired. Hina, a girl who awakens as a god, foresees the "end of the world. The story unfolds as she chooses a boy ...... as her companion who will spend his life until the end of the world and see it through.

The "New Anime "The Day God Became a God" Prologue Special Program -Key and Jun Maeda's Moving Kiseki," which aired on TOKYO MX on May 24, 2020, will be aired on ABC TV and Me-Tele. ABC TV will air it on May 30 (Sat.) from 26:40, and on Me-Tele from 27:13.

This is a documentary program that follows Key and Jun Asae, who wrote the original story and script, up to the decision to adapt "The Day God Became a God" into an anime. The program is full of highlights, such as behind-the-scenes stories that have never been told before.
