About 600 songs from the Macross series, including "Ai oboete desu ka", "Lion", and "Valkyrie wa tomaranai", will be available on Amazon Music starting today, May 27th!

Amazon Music, a subscription music distribution service, started to distribute songs from the Macross anime series today, May 27 (Wed.). About 50 albums and 600 songs from the entire series, from "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" to "Macross Delta the Movie: Gekijou no Valkyrie" to be released in 2018, will be distributed.

The "Macross" anime series began with "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross," which was broadcast on TV in 1982. The series is based on three major themes: the love triangle between the main characters, the action of the three-stage transformable mecha "Valkyrie," and the singing of the main characters.
The latest theatrical version, "Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute LIVE!!!!!!" is currently in production, and the release on May 27, 2020 of "Mirai wa onna no tame ni aru", the first new song by the five-member unit "Valkyrie" that appears in the film in about two and a half years, is attracting attention.

The music distribution of the anime Macross series started today, May 27 (Wed.) on Amazon Music, a subscription music distribution service.

Amazon Music Unlimited will be offering "Ai Oboete Dake", a song that has been sung throughout the series since Lin Minmei, the heroine of "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross", "Charge Love Heart" by Fire Bomber from "Macross 7", "Lion", a representative song from "Macross F", "Valkyrie" from "Macross Delta", and "MACROSS", and "MACROSS F". Macross Delta's "Valkyrie Stops and Stops", etc. The playlist "Macross Series Anime Songs" covering the Macross series will be distributed.
