Akiba Research Institute is currently running a giveaway campaign in which two winners will be selected in a drawing to win "BAYONETTA & VANQUISH" for PlayStation(R)4, which will be released on May 28, 2020.

BAYONETTA & VANQUISH" for PlayStation(R)4, which combines Platinum Games' masterpiece "BAYONETTA" and "VANQUISH," will be released on May 28, 2020 (Thursday).

BAYONETTA & VANQUISH" combines two titles released on PlayStation(R)3/Xbox 360(R), the climactic action "BAYONETTA" and the shooting action "VANQUISH," with the PS4 (The PlayStation(R)4 version features improved resolution and frame rate for clearer and smoother gameplay.

BAYONETTA" is a game in which "Bayonetta," a witch who has been resurrected in the modern age with a body and abilities beyond human knowledge, beautifully and brilliantly hunts "angels" with a variety of techniques. The game has gained popularity for its inexhaustible action style created by a combination of physical and weapon attacks.

VANQUISH" was directed by game creator Shinji Mikami and produced by Atsushi Inaba. In addition to the "aim and shoot" element of shooters, the game adds the element of action in which players actively move forward to fight, allowing them to enjoy high-speed play.

BAYONETTA & VANQUISH" is now compatible with PlayStation(R) 4, which improves the frame rate and movie resolution, allowing the game to be played with smoother motion. In addition to English voices, Japanese voices have been added to "BAYONETTA," and three special weapons that had been distributed for a fee have been added to "VANQUISH.
