PlayStation 5 game footage was finally shown at an online event on June 5; PS5 game titles were also unveiled for the first time.

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will deliver a video event introducing the future gaming experience that PlayStation 5 (PS5) will bring to life on Friday, June 5, 2020, at 5:00 a.m. Japan time. At the event, game titles currently in production for PS5 will also be unveiled for the first time.

PS5 is a next-generation, home video game console scheduled for release during the year-end sales season of 2020. The hardware specifications and the appearance of the DualSense wireless controller have been introduced so far, but at this event, actual game footage will be shown and game titles currently in production for PS5 will also be unveiled for the first time.

According to SEE, innovative developers from around the world, from new studios to seasoned teams, are developing games for PS5, and the games created to unlock the hardware's potential will be some of the best in the industry.


This video event distribution is scheduled to last approximately one hour and will be delivered in the form of a digital showcase, the first of its kind. The event will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch at 5:00 a.m. Japan time on Friday, June 5.
