Kadokawa Games began streaming the theme song trailer for "Root Film," the latest Kadokawa Game Mystery scheduled for release on Thursday, July 30, 2020, today, June 4, 2020.

Root Film" is an authentic mystery adventure game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, set in Shimane, Japan. It is a huge game that takes more than 15 hours to complete, which is unusual for an adventure game. The story follows two main characters, Yakumo and Riho, as they advance their respective stories and unravel the past records. Both the packaged and downloadable versions are priced at 6,800 yen (excluding tax).

In the theme song trailer, event cuts of the main characters are shown along with the theme song "Bubble Light" by the idol unit "i☆Ris," which is gentle and fragile.
