PS4 "The Last of Us Part II" to be released on June 19; web commercial video depicting full CG!

The official "Extended Commercial," a full CG web commercial video for the PlayStation 4 software "The Last of Us Part II," scheduled for release on Friday, June 19, 2020, was released today, Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

The Last of Us Part II" is the sequel to the survival action "The Last of Us," which has won over 200 awards worldwide. Originally scheduled for release on February 21 of this year, the game's release has been pushed back to June 19 due to a new coronavirus infection. The Last of Us Part II" (standard edition) is priced at 6,900 yen (excluding tax) for the Blu-ray Disc version and 7,590 yen (including tax) for the download version.

Story of "The Last of Us Part II
Five years have passed since the journey across a transformed America, brought on by a mysterious infectious explosion. Ellie and Joel live in Jackson, Wyoming. A community of survivors has grown steadily, and the two seem to have regained a sense of peace and tranquility.
But there are many dangers. But there are many dangers: the infected and the rest of the survivors, who are in a miserable situation.
And when a terrible event disrupts the peace, Ellie's merciless journey begins again. To bring them to justice and put an end to it all. One by one, Ellie hunts down her targets, and what she discovers is a horrific chain of events created by her own actions that shocks her mind and body.

The web commercial released this time depicts a part of her journey of revenge in full CG, including her escape from the approaching infected and her fierce battle with other survivors, accompanied by the story played by Ellie, the main character of the film.
